About Run

🤩 The Y2H Youth Helping Hearts Family 🤩 is Excited to Presents Chennai Charity Run , which acts as a vital fundraiser for Sparsh 2023 (Embracing Humanity).

Y2H’s yearly flagship SPARSH event aims to give children an experience that helps them understand themselves and reach their potential.

The Y2H encourages each individual to participate and witness the joy of sponsorship as an act of kindness, letting them know they are not alone but a part of a group.

This magnificent Chennai Charity Run event is the result of the tireless efforts of numerous organizers and volunteers from the Y2H family.

What you need to Bring

  • Copy of the confirmation e-mail/SMS [print out or on a smart phone]
  • An original photo ID & Age proof [Drivers license, Pan card, Voter ID, Passport, Student ID]
  • Note: In case you are unable to attend the expo, you can send a representative. He/She needs to bring an authorization letter signed by you or by sending an email to chennaicharityrun@gmail.com and a photocopy of your Photo ID & Age Proof.

Chennai Charity Run 2023 - Kit Drive

During a BIB collection we’ve planned a Charity Kit Drive program for all the participants like runners & non-runners can donate the below materials.

  • Donors Requested to register your name and materials details.
  • Drop the material into boxes.

  1. Stationary Items like (Pen, Pencil, Eraser , Pen, Note Books, Exam Pad)
  2. Books (Comic Books, Dictionary, Handwriting Books)
  3. Used Calculator (Good Working Condition)
  4. Cloths Unused (Likely New)
  5. Sports Items
  6. Gift Items (Age Category Lkg to 12th Std)
  7. Cosmetic Items
  8. Provision Items (Rice, Wheat, Atta & Rava, Sugar & Dals)
  9. Other Items (Soap, Soap Box, toothbrushes, Comb hair, Clips, Bindi, Nail polish, Maruthani)
  10. Veggies

Race Day Informations

29th October 2023 - Sunday

Start Time for 10K : 5:45 AM

Start Time for 5K : 6:00 AM

Start Time for 3K : 6:05 AM

Cutoff Time for the Event is 7:00 AM

We request all the runners to assemble at 5:00 AM

Vehicle Parking

(Inside Campus till 5:45 after that park at outside college)

Parking is available in the college and we strongly recommend the participants to car pool to avoid congestion and traffic block. Also request participants to arrive early to avoid last minute rush. The parking of vehicles is at owners risk and event organizers, the college management are not responsible for the safety or otherwise of the vehicles.

Baggage Counter

The participants are requested to deposit their baggage at the designated counter only at the venue.

Please ensure there are no valuables left in the baggage. Bags have to be properly closed and sealed. The organisers are not responsible for loss of any valuables. The participants are requested to collect the baggage before 8.30AM.

Hydration Points

There will be adequate number of hyderation points stocked with water and other hydration refreshments along the route.

Warm-UP

We strongly recommend proper pre & post run stretching for every runners. In addition to regular stretching exercises, you will also have a Zumba warm up session by Zin Sudha.

Post Run

We are sure all of you will have a successful and strong finish of your respective category. We are here to receive you back with a beautiful medal,certificate, quick photo and delicious breakfast.

Important Informations..!!

  • We encourage participants to assemble at the holding area at least 30 min prior to the scheduled start time, to take part in the warmup session.
  • Kindly note that due to traffic diversion , participants are advised to reach the venue before 5:45AM.
  • Organisers are very stringent on starting the event on time.
  • Please pin up your BIBs for the Run the day before the run.
  • BIBs will be distributed on the day of Expo.
  • Aid Stations will be provided along the route – water, fruits, basic first-aid facilities, etc.
  • Garbage Bins/Bag will be provided close to the aid stations – kindly dispose the trash ONLY in those bins/bags.
  • Medical facility and Emergency support will be provided covering the entire route.
  • All race finishers will be given a medal.
  • Certificates will be provided to all the finishers.
  • Breakfast will be provided post run at the Finish Area.
  • Baggage Counters will be available at the venue.
  • Bring your family/friends to cheer you along the route.
